  • Chris Cumberbatch

    Chris is a senior solicitor and qualified trust and estate practitioner whose work focuses on preventing disputes. He has had a long relationship with the ICA, having previously supported the organisation as a legal advisor. Chris also served for many years as trustee and chair of the Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality.

  • Robin Deacon

    Robin Deacon is SPILL’s Artistic Director. He has worked in performance, video and writing since the mid 1990s. His work is known for its innovative approach to the lecture as an art form. Robin’s interest in storytelling and narrative is reflected in his approach to programming and curation at SPILL, where he emphasises unusual perspectives and untold histories. Having worked in universities and art schools for many years, Robin is invested in the power of education and learning as a tool and a fundamental right.

  • Marcus Harris-Noble

    Recently returned to his hometown of Ipswich after many years delivering development programmes for the Cultural and Creative sectors in Croydon, Marcus is a musician, DJ and creative producer active in Ipswich’s vibrant creative communities.

  • Franstine Jones

    Franstine has dedicated her life to helping improve the lives of the Black community in East Anglia. Working for the police for many years, she became the first female president of the National Black Police Association and is Director of Compliance for Aspire Black Suffolk while running her own equality and diversity consultancy.

  • Imani Sorhaindo

    Imani moved to Ipswich from the Commonwealth of Dominica in 1976 and has since worked as a community leader for over 35 years. She is a teacher, event manager, holistic health practitioner, and business owner of KMT Rising. Imani helped to run the ICA’s youth club and black library for many years.
